• results are based on regional groundwater assessment reports prepared by hydrogeological consultants ltd. (HCL) in conjunction with Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA)
• contact at least three licensed water well drillers to get estimates of drilling and water well completion costs in your area
• consult the 'Water wells that last for Generations' booklet published by Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development for advice on hiring a water well driller
